Privacy policy
This page explains what data Japanese Ramen Simulator Guide (japaneseramensimulatorguide.wiki) collects and how the site uses it. The short version: we run privacy-friendly-ish, standard web analytics, we show ads through a third-party network, and we do not ask you for personal information anywhere on this site.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which guides are read and how visitors find us. It records standard technical data — pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, referral source — against a pseudonymous identifier, not your name.
- Server data. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical request data (IP address, user agent) to serve pages and protect against abuse.
- Email. If you write to the contact address, we receive your email address and whatever you include. It is used only to answer you.
We do not run accounts, newsletters, comment systems or forms that ask for personal details — there is nothing else to collect.
Advertising
Pages show advertising delivered by a third-party ad network (Adsterra). Ad delivery may involve the network setting or reading its own cookies and identifiers to measure and target advertising; that processing is governed by the ad network's own privacy policies, not this site. Ads are shown selectively by device (native units on desktop, banner units on smaller screens) and never as pop-ups or full-page redirects placed by us. Ad blockers stop them entirely and nothing on the site breaks without them.
Cookies and choices
- You can block or clear cookies and local identifiers in your browser at any time; the guides remain fully readable.
- Google Analytics can be opted out through the official Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Since we do not serve ads ourselves, cookie choices for advertising are handled by your browser's ad controls and the network's preferences tools.
Children
The site is a game guide; it is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes — for example if we add a new analytics or ad provider — the revision date below changes with it. Questions about privacy can go to wuzhihun_shen@outlook.com and will be answered like any other mail.
